Because that kind of weather is not going to affect you achieving your life's goals.
But if you are often consulting the 'whether' in your life, then you may need to move your focus elsewhere.
By definition, 'whether' is used to introduce an alternative. Shakespeare used that word very well in this famous line from Hamlet.
"Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?”
Basically, Hamlet is deciding if he should accept things as they are or fight against them.
And that's the same decision we face every day when we think about our life's goals. Do we fight against the status quo to write the 'story' we want or....not.
We all heard the expression, "You can't change the weather."
But we can change our view of the 'whether' that often stops us from going forward.
