This concept can be applied to achieving your goals. By working against anything that 'resists' you moving forward, you strengthen your will and create powerful habits.
First, identify your enemies. Resistance is a repelling force and can be internal or external.
Procrastination and self-doubt come from within, while negative opinions of family and friends create external resistance.
Oftentimes, the best weapons to overcome these enemies are phrases that train your brain to think in a different way. Try speaking these sentences out loud when you encounter these resisters.
Procrastination: If not now, when?
Self-doubt: I have been created for success.
Negativity from family and friends: I choose to believe in myself and my dreams.
And most importantly, don't sweat it. Fulfilling your life's purpose and writing your 'story' has already been programmed into your being. You really can do it.
